Meet The Founder
Dr. Potts was unanimously voted in as the Executive Director for the Center Street EDC Inc. We believe that she will lead us into the future, with the organizational resources that are necessary. Dr. Potts has a PhD in Business Admin and has served as the Chair and Executive Director of the BID board for a decade.
As a volunteer and IC, she has given her time, intelligence, and input into Center Street. Who better to lead the EDC? She is a property owner, nonprofit owner, as well as a business owner all on Center Street. Very well versed in many areas, however, she has what it takes to change the landscape!!!!!
Her Education:
Williams’ education includes a bachelor’s degree in individual and family development with a minor in psychology from Northern Illinois University, a master’s degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University, and additional study at Harvard University, New York University, and University of Washington.
Tracy is deeply committed to and unfailingly passionate about leading YWCA SEW as an organization that walks its talk, models the change it seeks to see in the world, and understands the need to look internally as much as externally to lead an organization with such a challenging mission to a progressive and equal future.
